Snoop Dogg is looking to become a part-owner of the up-for-sale Ottawa Senators, confirming as much on his Instagram Monday. 































The Dogg has already aligned himself with Neko Sparks in what could be a rival bid to the group set to be headlined by Hollywood actor and Wrexham part-owner, Ryan Reynolds, สมบัติกรุงโรม per the Ottawa Sun.































Snoop confirmed his interest in the team, and a broader, more wholesome objective simultaneously.































































`Amazing what @neko_sparks is trying to do in Ottawa & I`m looking forward to being apart of that ownership team. I WANNA BRING HOCKEY TO OUR COMMUNITY,` he wrote.































According to an anonymous source cited by The Athletic, Snoop is `passionately involved.`

The Dogg confirmed he is part of the ownership consortium led by businessman Neko Sparks































































































Film producer Neko Sparks is reported to be spearheading what could become `the most diverse NHL ownership group in history`, according to a report from The Athletic Monday































`He`s coming up with ideas. And he`s legitimately excited,` said a source of Snoop`s involvement, per The Athletic. `He wants this team.` 































The report states the Sparks-led consortium would be the `most diverse ownership group the NHL has ever seen` and includes more than 12 investing -- most of which are people of color. 































There is no mention of Snoop`s potential stake in the Senators, should their bid be successful. He has maintained a level of interest in the NHL throughout the years, even leading his voice to a Kings-Penguins game in 2019. 































Those who enjoy EA Sports NHL 20 will recall Snoop was both a commentator and an eligible player on the video game. 































It does say however, The Doggfather would attend games throughout the 2023-24 season and offer his widely-beloved services to the TSN broadcast booth.































Snoop is no stranger to a sports administration role, having launched the Snoop Football League back in 2005. 































Reynolds is reportedly part of an imminent $1billion bid for the Senators and the Canadian Tire Centre, co-led by real estate mogul Christopher Bratty.































The Canadian-born actor said last November that he was interested in buying the Senators.































Postmedia has reported that there is a May 15 deadline for all bids. The team was put up for sale on November 4, 2022 after longtime owner Eugene Melnyk`s death in March of that year.
